HEARTIEST CONDOLENCES TO LIONS OF KAMPALA HOST AND ALL LIONS OF DISTRICT 411B

Hello Lion Deepa Verma Jivram
President Lions Club of Kampala Host

I have with deep shock and anguish learnt of the death of our dear active and hard working Lion Leah Mambule Ssali.

On behalf of Lion Polly and myself  currently out of the country, and on behalf of Lions fraternity in District 411B, Multiple District411 and Lions Clubs International, we wish to  express our deepest condolences to the members Kampala Host Lions club, Lions Fraternity and to the bereaved entire family members.

We are indeed saddened by the death of Lion Leah Ssali.

Leah whom I came to know in
1980 in Soroti ,where we both worked, has been one of our pillars in the club. She served the club diligently up to the level of club president. She served the District as one of the  District Officers. She has been attending the District Conventions including the latest one in Dar es Salaam. I recall how we used to hold vivid discussions in the lounge of White Sands Hotel where she used to sit during the events' intervals. She has regularly been attending the International Conventions, the All Africa Conference and the ISAAME forums whenever they would be held especially in our Multiple District.

Not long ago she invited some of our club members to attend her surprise birth day celebrations and thanks giving which members of their family had organised for her. Despite her sickness she has always been cheerful and an inspiration to us.

When asked, she ably guided Busia Greater as a Guiding Lion.
We have lost a pillar,a true Lion and a friend to all.
It is the Almighty who determines what befalls us.He has decided to take his servant.
We pray that she gets eternal peace where we shall join her in glory of the Lord.
May the Good Lord rest her soul in eternal peace,

Night  Ndyarugahi
District Governor 411B
Late Lion Leah is in Green Dress
