On Sunday 26th October, 2014 the Leo Club of Hamdan Girls
Secondary School in Mbale Town In Uganda, arranged for a hand over and
take over of office ceremony by the Leo office bearers for this year. Lions
Club of Kumi was invited to grace the occasion and also guide the Leo Club
Hamdan Leo Club is an old Club formed in 2004 and attached
to Mbale Lions Club which is not operating at the moment.The Club has been in
existence since but needed guidance, support and mentor ship from a
neighbouring Club.
The ceremony was successful and offered an opprtunity for
the Loins Club of Kumi to guide the Leo Club accordingly. Lions Club of Kumi
Central would like to take this opportunity to have a club restarted again in
Mbale and are going to use this as away of attracting membership and
later have an independent club formed in Mbale
