Delegates of
Lions of Uganda led by the District Governor Lion Night Ndyarugahi joined the
National launching of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Trust's Trachoma Initiative
that was held at Kagoma Primary school, Buwenge Rural Sub-County, Jinja District.
It was officiated by the Minister of Health Hon. Elioda
Tumwesigye.The Trust was led by Dr.Astrid Bonfield who during her speech mentioned on the role of LCIF and Lions Clubs International in partnering
with the Trust to finance the program. The DG was given a front seat among the
signatories.
