On 1st July, 2014, Lions club of Dar es Salaam Mzizima in collaboration with Sikh Community in Dar es Salaam presented a TShs 8ml worth Water project borehole at Kigogo
Fresh Primary School in Chanika area, Dar es Salaam.
The grand
opening ceremony of the borehole water project was inaugurated by the Ilala District Commissioner, Hon. Raymond Mushi.The ceremony was also attended the by community members from Sikh Temple in Dar es Salaam, who had proudly contributed towards this project.
Pupils of the Kigogo Fresh Primary School and residents from nearby area were present at the event. which was
also attended by the Ukonga Member of Parliament Hon. Eugean Mwaiposa.
The DC thanked Lions Club of Mzizima and Sikh community in Dar es Salaam
for providing borehole to the school to benefit the children and nearby residents.
