KUMI CENTRAL TO BUILD A HOUSING FACILITY FOR A NEEDY FAMILY
Living in an Urban setting does not make life for every rosy. Many times there is a believe that all is okay for everyone. This is the case with Charles Ochom alias (BBC) who with his wife and his HIV positive daughter live in a dilapidated, ram shackled structure that is about to collapse. More over the old structure does not even belong them.Seeing the situation, Lions Club of Kumi Central mobilized resources to help the family acquire a housing facility.Club members visited the family yesterday, giving them food items and soap
Today the ground was broken for construction of a one(1) bed roomed Iron roofed house for this needy and old family. Mr Ochom was all smiles and took the initiative to participate in the digging of the ground so as to commence construction. The relatives were happy with the support offered by the club and committed themselves to offer free labor for the benefit of their relative.
The one (1) roomed house to be built with baked bricks, cement and to be roofed with color iron sheets will cost about seven million
shillings(7.000.000)
