DG LION NIGHT SEND OUT A WORD OF APPRECIATION AND REMINDS ON MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AS WE ENTER CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS

Dear Lion Leaders, Lions and Leos,
Greetings from Kampala and welcome back from our just concluded 12th MD Convention in Dar es Salaam. I hope you arrived safely in your respective homes. May I take this opportunity to thank all the Lions who attended the Convention in big numbers.

I was overjoyed by your support and attending in large numbers not to let down the hard working Convention committee who gave us an excellent Convention of its caliber. I  hope you had a good time during your stay in Dar es Salaam.

To those who missed for one reason or other sorry/ pole, you will hear stories from fellow Lions and there are chances to attend the next one in the same City.

Lions, we still have more than a month and a half to end the lionistic year 2014-2015. My appeal is that do not relax but keep on Strengthening our Clubs through membership growth and Centennial activities. We worked tires sly to bring in New members and we need to retain the same members. Let us minimise unnecessary drop of members as we still need more hands on.

There are still Clubs which have not fulfilled their financial obligations both at Lions Clubs International and District, please clear all the outstanding bills as soon as possible to end smart. Please convey my message and appreciation to all your members.

I thank you for your cooperation as we continue to serve our Community through service with care and take this opportunity to remind all Lions of their Centennial Obligations......WHERE THERE IS A LION THERE IS A NEED and to fulfill the requirements of (HEVY):
  1. Hunger
  2. Environment
  3. Vision
  4. Youth

Kind warm regards,
Night Ndyarugahi
District Governor
